Nederlandse Perl Workshop

Although the workshop focus is on the Dutch community of (professional and occasional) Perl programmers, most communication is done in English: many Perl programmers in NL do not speak Dutch, but are very welcome! To avoid writing all texts in two languages, please use English on this wiki

Prelimary Plan

The main day is Saturday July 7: the presentations. However, there are more events around that. This evolves in the week towards the workshop and even during the event.

At the moment, the plan is as follows:

* Friday July 6: arrival, meeting at Hack42, where Melinda cooks us diner.
* Saturday July 7: presentations, includes lunch and Social Event (BBQ)
* Sunday July 8: additional tutorials and sightseeing

Lodging

The Workshop will happen in three room inside the StayOkay in Arnhem. This hostel is an excellent place to stay, so consider to stay over one or two nights.

The later you book your sleep-overs at the StayOkay, the more expensive it gets. There are a few other hotels on cycle distance. You may also try AirBNB.

You may want to bring your family as well: Burgers' Zoo and the Openairmuseum are within 1km, and really worth a visit!
