Samantha McVey is one of Perl 6's MoarVM developers working to improve various aspects of the virtual machine. She is known for her work on string operation performance and Unicode support in MoarVM, though recently has been working on making MoarVM's hashing more secure.
She completed a Perl Foundation grant in 2017 for improving Unicode support and performance.
She loves the Perl programming languages and greatly enjoy contributing to Perl 6. She feels it is the programming language of the future! |
