With the upcoming official release of Perl 6 I thought it was high time to try writing a small, yet non-trivial, project in it. In this talk I will discuss my observations on the process of setting up an optimal Perl 6 environment, sketching out ideas in code, and then refactoring that code into a module complete with tests and more.
