OpenOffice::OODoc is a powerful tool for creating and editing OpenOffice documents from within Perl. We use OpenOffice::OODoc in combination with a simple OpenOffice macro that allows us to create high quality PDF documents from our Linux server.
This presentation gives a quick look at the work-flow we use at Online Talent Manager, a few of the obstacles encountered and our solutions for them, and some practical examples to help others get up to speed quickly.
